The Barrett St footpath will be built!

For many years, at the request of local residents, I have asked Gosnells Council to build a footpath down Barrett Street (between Lakey and Balfour) in Southern River. This would allow safer pedestrian movement for young people to and from school. This increase in human activity will deter people from choosing to dump their rubbish in the bush along Barrett Street.

Thank you to everyone who has raised this issue with me so I can advocate for you to the Council.

To assist, Terry Healy and the WA Government have funded the Council $30,000 through a grant with Matt Keogh, Federal Member for Burt,
securing over $200,000 in federal funds with the Council contributing $10,000. These funds will be used to design and build a footpath & road.

If you support this, please fill out the form.

We also commend Gosnells Councillor Serena Williamson for her advocacy on this issue.
