WORKS HAVE COMMENCED ON OUR YOUTH PLAZA!
Works have officially commenced and I am very proud to have delivered on my promise of $2 million to build our Youth Plaza
I believe we need more facilities for young children and young adults in our area.
Our growing area needs more parks, playgrounds and facilities for families and children of all ages.
A Youth Plaza will help give our area the infrastructure it needs.
In 2021 I was proud to promise and deliver $2 million to get our Youth Plaza moving and with the Council we are building a fantastic Youth Plaza Precinct, and now with the carpark and playground completed the next build will be the climbing wall, skate park, multi purpose court, pump track and a 100m+ All Weather Shelter. I also appreciate the City of Gosnells contribution to the Youth Plaza.
The playground and carpark that are open now (entry off Holmes st) are the first stage of the Youth Plaza at Sutherlands Park.
I love working with City of Gosnells on the Youth Plaza project and I also thank each of our local workers who will keep building the Youth Plaza and Thank you to our community for their patience since works began in April 2023 as promised.
