Thank you to everyone in Southern River for their patience with the road closure as Barrett St itself was widened and resealed and the footpath built on the north side between Balfour & Lakey in Southern River.

I commend Serena Williamson - Deputy Mayor City of Gosnells and Matt Keogh for their advocacy on this issue as for many years, locals have raised with us to get a footpath built down Barrett St.  

We were joined by former Bletchley Park PS Head Boy Jake who wrote to Matt, Serena and I requesting the Barrett St footpath be built.

I also thank the City of Gosnells staff and contractors that have been a part of the building of Barrett St.

This is another great example of local, state and federal representatives working together.
